“Music saved my life…”

Through being a DJ, emcee, a recording artist, producer and audio engineer, he has all the tools necessary to do what he need to do to set himself apart from the rest. From a young age Stevie Styles was infatuated with music. He stated, “Music saved my life. I understood if I wanted to be good at something a great deal of sacrifice needed to be made. From my years of martial arts training and wanting to be a pro-fighter there was a deal that needed to be made. In any profession you cannot lead a normal life if you want to be great at something.”

He made the decision to switch career paths and pursue being a hip hop artist but needed more life experiences and break out of his shell. Knowing he was introverted he became a club promoter and would force himself to break out of his ways. Through his tenure he became a DJ and a club emcee. He states, “I took a different approach towards the middle of my run. For the next year I would sip on scotch and watch how people react from when they walk in the club, listen to tempos, genres, the way people moved and reacted when songs would come on and many other things would formulate from there.”

Years would go by focusing on his entertainment craft and he would create his own philosophy through repetition. He has DJ’ed and been an emcee at many unique spots from Sankey’s NYC, Pacha, Gansevoort rooftop, Space NYC to local clubs and bars all over Long Island. When he decided to do more private event work he brought his club philosophy and his focused energy to the private event scene. He states, “If a clients sees you are always working then the guests attending the event would see it as well. I feel they are getting their money’s worth out of me and with that would hold my value.”

With 5 albums and dozens of digital releases under his belt, 14 years of club/bar DJ and emcee experience, 8 years of mobile DJ experience 12 years of strip club DJ/Managing experience he is ready to take his career to the next level.
